| Southern
Veterans League - 2007 The
Southern Counties Veterans Athletic Clubs (Kent
Divisions) season took place over the Summer on
Monday(2)/ Friday(4) eves, starting this year at
6.45pm and ending around 9.00pm. BVAC struggled
to turn out a full complement in a number of the
meetings and we're keen to encourage folks to
come and have a go. Nothwithstanding that, the
men narrowly missed out on promotion once more
(shame!) with the match scores seeing them equal
with Ashford going into the last meeting at Erith
(Bexley were pipped for the title on their home
patch losing out to Ashford by half a point).
There
was no 5000m race this year but 2 x 3000m
instead.
We
look forward to seeing both teams in division two
next year!
